Technical Support EngineerDue to our continued success and growth in the UK, SpliceCom have a vacancy for a Technical Support Engineer. Based in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, we develop, manufacture and sell Business Telephone Systems based on Voice over IP (VoIP) technology.
Your primary role will be offering 2nd/3rd line technical support to our channel partners. We’re looking for a dynamic individual, committed to quality, customer satisfaction, innovation and creative thinking, with some experience of Voice & Data Convergence and TCP/IP Networking. A good communicator - you’ll be dealing with our customers (resellers), their customers (end-users of our equipment) and our in-house product support and development teams – you’ll be reporting to the Technical Support Manager. Through the extensive use of remote diagnostics, this will predominantly be an office-based role, however, there will be the occasional need to make site visits. Knowledge of SIP and H.323 VoIP protocols alongside PHP, or other scripting languages, would be considered advantageous.
